Question: Hello the problem is that I lost the order number of the piece but I bought Ford VCM IDS six months ago

it turns out that the program got blocked and I updated it on your page and the FLY gives me that message
I bought the piece with the 111 version for ford and mazda and on its page it is with the 113 version I would like to know if you can help me with this problem that I have I would appreciate beforehand for your help

How to update Lexia 3 version B to version C

I bought my Lexia interface clone from CnAutotool.com ( full chip with S/N 963830 C ) I tested as it is before reflash it with Mr. NLC vci_updater.com and in some cars that I know 100% that a “B” clone didn’t worked before this “C” clone didn’t worked too.
Then I tested it again in same cars after I flashed with Mr. NLC vci_updater.com. And all worked 100%

Here is what I did:

Open the “vci_updater.com” with a HEX Editor and read what Mr. NLC wrote in it.
I use my tool from time to time but what I wanna tell you is that when I bought my clone from china ( full chip with S/N 963830 C ) I tested as it is before reflash it with Mr. NLC vci_updater.com and in some cars that I know 100% that a “B” clone didn’t worked before this “C” clone didn’t worked too.
Then I tested it again in same cars after I flashed with Mr. NLC vci_updater.com.
And all worked 100%
I took my clone for a long now so I do not remember when I did this tests but if I remmebr well was in May 2013

For those have tried to update the firmware from B to C with the file i’ve been downloading from WP74, but it makes no difference in working, and you can’t access the C CAN bus:

The solution is: Just buy a standard 10K Ohms 1/4 watt resistor and solder it between the two terminals, similar to the form shown in the snapshot*.

* The snapshot is a random photo taken from the internet for demonstration purpose and not related to the XS Evolution VCI.

Nissan Consult 3 Plus Programming Reviews: Cheapest way FOUND!

Nissan Consult 3 Plus programming reviews:

I looks like it’s a remote system using a bluetooth and is good up to 5 meters away. It also looks like it only works for OBD2…1996 and newer.

The Nissan Consult three Plus does not support the Q45’s made from 1990-1996 YET. I hope that changes soon.

I have an Infiniti G37 (2011). I used Nissan Consult III Plus to enter the pin and start programming new Key Fobs.

I was able to clear the existing keys , but am not able to program the new Fob(s).

The cheapest way to program Nissan:

No need a smart card!

I managed to do Immo and programming without spending out on the smart card.
find the consult diagnostictool.ini file
open with notepad
copy and paste this at the bottom

Connect Consult 3 plus to the computer and the vehicle: Nissan Altima year 2006

Insert key into the key hole, turn ignition ON with engine OFF

Start Consult-III plus software

Click on “Connect” button on VIMI selection screen to connect with VI

Porsche Piwis II Universal Image Installation Guide:

If you are restoring the Piwis image to a laptop, use software like RUFUS to make the restore program ISO file to a bootable USB thumb drive.

Or if it’s to a virtual machine, then just simply mount the ISO on the virtual machine.

 

If the screen gets stuck at this command prompt, then just simply close the prompt.

Click restore and then click the path button. Select the backup file(adi.file) and then click on next.

The program detects the selected backup is a system image, would you like to do a system restore?

Click “Yes” here.

 

Make sure this box is checked.

Select the drive into which you want to restore the image and then click next.

 

Make sure that the “enable universal restore” box is checked, so that the system can boot on your laptop.

If you are restoring the image to a virtual machine, you can leave this option unchecked.

 

Make sure that on unallocated space remains at the end of the partition.

Next, click “OK” and then click “Start Restore”.

After restoring and booting into the system, install drivers and imprint the texter with the method of your choosing. Turbofans method can be found in the following folder.

 

Restore Porsche Piwis II Universal Image to VM:

1.Create two virtual hard drives – lets say – VHD-A and VHD-B; VHD-A will be the main VHD of your VM into which you are restoring the image.
VHD-B is just a temporary VHD to hold the image file for restore.
2. Copy the image file (.adi file) into VHD-B.
3. Attach both VHD-A and VHD-B to the VM.
4. In the VMs CD drive, mount the recovery disc iso.
5. Start the VM and boot into the recovery CD.
6. Follow the instructions given in the archive to restore the image.
7. After image finish restoring, turn off the VM and detach VHD-B and unmount the recovery disc iso from the VM.
8. Start the VM – after it finish initializing, then install guest additions.
9. Done – you can delete VHD-B from your system.

Theoretically this image should be able to restore and boot into any laptop which supports Windows XP (hopefully no BSOD on booting). Also you can restore it to a Virtual Machine.

My aim with this image was to create an PIWIS image that anyone can restore and use without any difficulty.

This image might be more suited to someone restoring it to a laptop other than a Panasonic CF-30 as I have removed all the Panasonic drivers. You can restore it to a CF-30, just need to reinstall / restore all the drivers.

Easiest method to re-install drivers – In the laptop you are planning to restore the image -> If you are already running Win XP in that laptop, use software called “Double Driver” to backup all the drivers. After restoring the PIWIS image, then restore the drivers – hardly take 5-10 min for complete driver restore and it’s all one-click operation.

1.Remove and insert the key into the ignition key 6 times within 10 seconds (turning the key barrel switch from OFF to ON counts as 1 time).

2.Hazard warning lamp blinks and all door unlocks.

NOTE:On the sixth key insertion, keep the key in the cylinder with the key barrel switch ON.Does the hazard lamp blink and all doors unlock?YES >> GO TO STEP 4.NO >> GO TO STEP 1.

STEP 4

Within 3 seconds after the hazard lamp blinks and all door unlocks, turn ignition switch to the ACC position and operate lock using the driver side door lock and unlock switch.

1.Press the lock or unlock button of the keyfobto be added.

2.All doors unlock simultaneously.

3.Hazard warning lamp blinks and all door unlocks.

4.Key ID is registered.

First of all, the Piwis 2 interface is a lot more robust piece of equipment, compared to the cheesy and flimsy looking and feeling interface produced by Actia for Piwis 3.

Originally designed for the VW ODIS system, the VAS6154 VCI is quite the service needy piece. [Breaks easily] not a hard comparison to make.
Is it worth to purchase Piwis 3 replace Piwis 2 now? Can the Porsche Piwis 2 compatible with Piwis 3 Software?

This answer for the question of whether Piwis 3 software can work with Piwis II Samtec HSX Interface from Piwis-Tester-2.com?

Secondly, I thought the Piwis 3 for Porsche went cheap. [my humble opinion, way below Porsche standard!]

At the same time, there is a service from Poland and Ukraine [If I remember correctly] that can make the Samtec based Piwis 2 VCI from Piwis-Tester-2.com, to work with Piwis 3.

Unfortunately, their charges are just as much and frankly cost prohibitive as the New Piwis 3 VCI. 2-3-4 thousand dollars for these VCIs is simply not reasonable for small operators.

They will come down in price just like the Chinese VCIs did for all manufacturers as the markets get saturated and folks are not buying them as eagerly as at the beginning of the Piwis 3 had.

They will get as much money as the market bares. [as much as people are willing to pay]

What Do the Piwis 3 updates replace Piwis 2?

Diagnostics application is used for communication with control units. You can search for, identify, code and control program units, read out the event memory, execute complex processes, change drive links and execute routines.

Guided fault finding (GFF) generates a test plan for a fault code. This test plan shows the best sequence for carrying out tests. GFF compiles a list of recommended tests, documents and wiring diagrams

Actual values/input signals functions display you the actual values and input signals of control units
